Description
The PADI Open Water Completion Dives are the final step that a new diver must complete to get their certification. We run these dives locally at Lake Diefenbaker or Whiteswan June to September.
The Open Water Completion is a series of four scuba dives that are conducted over two days. You will put everything you have learned in class and in the pool to use while diving under the supervision of one of our qualified instructors. Upon successful completion you will be certified as an Open Water Diver!
What Equipment do I Need to Provide?
-Mask -Snorkel -Open Heel Fins -Boots -Gloves (optional on warmer dives)
What Equipment can I Rent?
-Hood -7mm Neoprene Jacket -7mm Neoprene John -Regulators and Gauges -BCD -2x Tanks (with 2x Air Fills included) – Weights and Weight Belt -Gear Bag
-Full weekend rental with all equipment with student discount: $183.35+tax (regular $245.00+tax)
Where are Completion Weekends Held?
Typically completion weekends are held during the summer at White Swan Lake where visibility can be up to 50ft. There plenty of sights to see at White Swan including a dive bell, sunken boats, an aircraft, and a mysterious mermaid that hangs out by the underwater phone booth. Completion Weekends may also be held at Lake Diefenbaker or other local lakes depending on logistics
