This lens is ultra-clear glass which is valued for its attractive appearance and optical qualities. The low iron content produces a higher light transmittance and a reduced green tint inherent in other glasses. This makes the lens distortion free and helps improve color and visibility in low light conditions underwater.
The new M1 Clear combines the mask’s legendary design and ultra-clear, low-iron glass lens with a new clear silicone skirt that feels brighter, improves peripheral awareness, and makes for a more illuminated visual experience in low light, making the mask feel invisible on the face. With the M1’s wide fit range, the clear version will make a perfect addition for any diver who wants the M1 but with a brighter and more open view.
